Our Story
College Cuisine is a small boutique company born and bred in California – this simple fact reveals a lot more than just a location, it represents a state of mind and a wealth of benefits. Our beautiful and diverse state provides a consistent supply of fresh produce and artisan bakeries; it pioneered healthful cuisine and brought fitness and well-being to center stage amidst a sea of processed, packaged foods.
College Cuisine was founded in 2008, right here in Southern California. Our business model is rooted in the diversity that only one of the largest economies on the planet can offer. Mangoes in November? Sure! Strawberries in February? You got it. We don’t need or want to conquer the world, or even the country: we have everything we need to satisfy your appetite right at our fingertips.
Our company specializes in providing kitchen management services to Sororities and Fraternities, University Dining Halls, non-profit organizations, and public, private, and charter schools. We are able to provide high-quality, beautifully prepared, health-conscious food at a great price because of our expertise in implementing cost controls, routine quality checks and low overhead.
At College Cuisine we strive to continue meeting and exceeding the needs of our students, all while continuing to grow across more States and more Universities. College Cuisine presently manages kitchens across University campuses in California and Arizona, but our measured growth model is unique amongst our competitors and has been crucial to our success. We are a boutique company that finds real value in servicing our customers’ every need with Quality, Consistency and Professionalism! Our circle of operation allows us to staff knowledgeable, local reps for optimal customer service. We want to be right around the corner if there’s anything you need.
In addition, our chefs are not just ServSafe Certified professionals; if you’re talking food service, that’s a fairly low bar as far as we’re concerned. We endeavor to hire chefs who are passionate about not only food, but about life. The desire and commitment for balancing a healthy, active lifestyle with family and friends emboldens our chefs to create delicious, from-scratch dishes every week without getting burned out or resorting to the same, repeating menus. All of our clients have unique needs and we design every menu, meal program, and pricing structure to best fit your organization. Week-to-week, your personal chef will craft your menu and welcome suggestions from directors and diners alike, because a great chef realizes that they aren’t the only one who can have a food epiphany!
